KW 9 / Playlist – F-Words
Ich habe ein Faible (!) für Wörter mit F. Das mag an meinem Vornamen liegen oder viel wahrscheinlicher an den Ausdrücken selbst: Freundschaft, Faszination, Fantasie. Oder auch Femininität – ein Wort, das sich wie Singen anfühlt. Passend dazu ist meine Playlist eine Zusammenstellung aus weiblichen Stimmen: Bryde alias Sarah Howells gehört dazu. Von Twitter wissen wir, wie man ihren Namen ausspricht, und dass sie nicht verheiratet ist: „BRYDE (Like Bride but not)“. Wer wie ich von ihrer fesselnden Stimme nicht genug bekommen kann, wird bei Paper Aeroplanes fündig, ihrem Duo zusammen mit Richard Llewellyn. Lehnen wir uns also zurück und hören die Stimmen des Monats Februar.
I have a foible (!) for words starting with F. That might be because of my first name or more likely due to the words themselves: friendship, fascination, fantasy. Or femininity – a word that feels like singing. Appropriately, my playlist is a compilation of female singers. Bryde a.k.a. Sarah Howells is one of them. From Twitter we know how to pronounce her name and that she’s not married: “BRYDE (Like Bride but not)”.
