KW 6 Playlist – Hot
Ich schreibe meine Playlist-Einleitung und zeitgleich spielt Waxahatchee in Berlin. Wäre es nicht ausverkauft gewesen, es gäbe vielleicht keine pünktliche Playlist. Die vergleichsweise kleine Location lies mich vermuten, ich könnte sie als neuen, heißen Act einführen; weit gefehlt, denn es gibt bereits einen Wikipedia-Eintrag. Enttäuscht und begeistert präsentiere ich stattdessen: Twin Oaks. Man liest, sie nehmen gerade ihr erstes richtiges Album auf, und ich vermute, 2015 werden sie durchstarten.
I am writing my playlist introduction and at the same time Waxahatchee is playing in Berlin. Wouldn’t it have been sold out, the playlist might not have been on time. Because of the comparatively small location, I thought I could introduce her as the new, hot act. Far from it, since there’s already a Wikipedia entry. Disappointed and enthusiastic I present instead: Twin Oaks. You read, they’re recording their first full-length album and I guess they get started 2015.
