KW 46 / Into The Woods
Es passte perfekt, als ich das erste Mal Dear Grey Sky hörte, was wohl daran lag, dass es ein sehr grauer Novembertag war:

Als ich bei Not Happy angekommen war, störte es mich auch schon nicht mehr, dass ich die Berliner Record-Release-Show von Twisted Animals, dem neuen Album von Sorry Gilberto,Sorry Gilberto um wenige Tage verpasst hatte. Und ich beschloss, in Zukunft mehr Eurodance zu hören.

Sorry Gilberto sind Anne von Keller und Jakob Dobers. Die Tatsache, dass sich Twisted Animals sofort in die Hot-Rotation der Kulturklubben-Redaktion gespielt hat, dürfte nicht zuletzt daran liegen, dass zu Gitarre, Ukulele, Bass, Rodeo37, Casio, Glockenspiel und Stylophone noch ein Omnichord 12-07 hinzugekommen ist.
Ein Highlight in diesem Klang-Kosmos ist auf jeden Fall Into The Woods:

Ein Highlight auch, weil es perfekt zu einem anderen Duo und ihrem 2014er Album überleitet: Into The Woods von

Für alle, die aus dem Wald zurückgefunden haben, gibt es Song for the Troubador. Bei der Frage, ob der Song Jens Lekman gewidmet ist, ist man sich nicht so ganz so einig (dieses Mal auch die Kommentare lesen) Cloudberry Cake Interview geworden, aber das macht nichts:
That was Then: Recorded in 2004, this was The Happy Couple’s (premature) swan song. A wistful farewell to their salad days, it actually augured well for things yet to come. Featuring Stevie Jackson, and with a ’specially groovy remix by Erobique on the flipside, this has more than just nostalgic value.
